Welcome To Find Your Grit

Welcome to the journey. I created Find Your Grit to offer a powerful new approach to training and wellness that stems from my own path of overcoming trauma. I first-handedly understand that true transformation requires more than just physical fitness or mental strength—it's about nurturing the mind, body, and soul. At Find Your Grit, I combine the trifecta of grind, grit, and grace to empower my clients to discover their "why," their reason for showing up every day, and the impact they can make on others.

 

I have personally experienced the transformative power of this approach. With no playbook, no GPS, and no one dictating my path, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery. Trusting my gut and through my own struggles and victories, I realized the profound impact we could have on others by embracing our authenticity and unleashing our inner strengths.

 

Witnessing the physical, mental, and spiritual transformations of my clients has been life changing. It has solidified my belief that we all possess unique gifts and potential waiting to be unleashed. I am honored to guide individuals on a path of self-discovery, helping them become the best versions of themselves.

I’m worried I’m too out of shape to start. 

  • We work at all levels, ages and at your own pace. Often taking that first step is the hardest part of the journey, but once you initiate that first step forward, we can guarantee you won’t regret it. There was a reason that led you to look into taking this jump–together let’s identify that purpose and evolve a new and improved you. 
     

Are you accepting new clients? What can I expect during my first consultation?

  • I have a limited number of 1:1 coaching slots, where I provide you a holistic approach to your wellness. We begin by going over your health and wellness history (i.e. any health/medical information, what your goals are, what you’ve tried in the past, etc). Once we both feel that we have a good basis to build upon, we’ll jump into a short workout to get a sweat on, and so you can get a true sense for our training style and the level of quality that you can expect from Find Your Grit.

What is your training philosophy? What makes you different?

  • Training at Find Your Grit focuses on dynamic, functional movement patterns and what truly matters–which is not “crushing it on leg day”, but rather targeting the muscles you might not necessarily see in the mirror. These smaller group muscles are the powerhouse to our body– they provide our body with the stability and strength needed to make functional gains, get healthy, prevent injury and stay energized. 

  • The “why” that led me to become a personal trainer gives me a unique view point. Fitness and health are more than just showing up for the workout, nor do they exist without the context of the rest of your life and day to day struggles. Life throws heavy punches sometimes, and it’s easy to feel buried in the trauma and struggle. I want to redefine this for each of my clients: You’re never buried–you’re planted. Together, we find the root to what fueled you to show up in the first place, and grow together from there.
     

What if I need to cancel a session?

  • We have a 24 hour cancellation policy, but always strive to be as flexible as possible for our clients.
